Who we are

One musician. One engineer. One loud room.

Triple R Studio is a working studio in Aruba built by players, for players. Rouge Rehearsals & Recordings started as a place to make noise properly and grew into a full studio for rehearsals, records, coaching and lessons.

Peter Bouw

Peter Bouw

Coach, Instructor & Engineer

Peter Bouw has been involved with music since the age of ten, starting out as a drummer in a marching band. He went on to play guitar, as well as bass, a bit of drums, and keyboards. Over the years, he has played in various bands in the Netherlands, Curaçao, and Aruba.

He has collected so much gear and equipment along the way that he now has a private music studio. What started as a hobby has truly gotten out of hand. He has been aided in this by his friends and professional sound engineers Mark Hamersveld, Wilfred van Weert, and Barny Pronk.

It seemed a shame to keep it all to himself, so through this website he would like to make the studio available to musicians who are keen to make music with others.

Drawing on his experience performing with rock, pop, and blues bands such as Plan C, The Clinch, and The Charge in the Netherlands; Sleeve's, Bischops, and Vibe in Curaçao; and Brothers of Sound (BOS) and Haerfen in Aruba, Peter would love to coach up-and-coming bands, helping them reach a level where they can perform live, record, and perhaps even produce a demo album.

Wilfred

Wilfred

Engineer & Producer

Wilfred started playing with electronics as a pre-teen and entered the music production world in his teens as a studio apprentice. The experience in every corner of the field has been built for nearly 5 decades and never stops. Although master in the reggae dubs, whether it's pop, rock, ethnic, jazz, classic or theater, he can make it sound good!

With a professional attitude and knowing his business, also being director of SON Sound Optimizing Network, his approach is always quality over quantity. Making the best he can with the resources available is a challenge that feels natural to him, driven by the love for music.

He knows what it is to play instruments and can give you the ideas and feedback you need to perform better for your recording, but always respecting that it is your music you want to play and record.

And whether you speak English, Dutch, Spanish, Papiamento or mix up all these languages in one sentence, language is no barrier.
